Nice place. Food ok. Basic pub style. Freezing inside tonight. Sat with my thick coat on the whole time while eating. Even the couple next to us commented on how cold it was and she kept her coat on too.
Amazing atmosphere, with very relaxed but professional staff. Very accommodating for our pushchair, so definitely family friendly.Food was excellent, and very good value for money.
Really nice pub setting with a log fire and dog friendly which is great! The menu had a good choice of food and at reasonable prices. First experiencing eating there involved a hair in the food and half of the food being serve cold. Staff didn't care and offered no apologies. On the second visit the food couldn't be faulted and there was much better service. I would suggest going when it's quieter as staff seem to be more attentive then and food cooked to a better quality when the chefs have more time to spend on it

Really lovely pub which has quite a few historical features remaining that make it really interesting. During the summer is obviously a really nice time to go because you can sit outside and enjoy some nice views up towards what was once the mill pond. Good variety of beer and really cosy. Haven't tried the food but from what I've seen. Looks nice. Staff are really pleasant.
