A very nice place to visit, I am not a vegetarian, but I had the most tasty vegetarian here. It's a good place for birdwatchers and wildlife visitors.
Beautiful place, enjoy the peace , enjoy the wildlife. Just enjoy. P s, maybe wash it down with a lovely cuppa from the split screen barista, just doesn't get better.
New Years Day very busy. A lovely place looking out to the sea channel with the nature reserve behind you. Lots to do nature wise
I'm not a 'twitcher', I just like to go down, park up (free) and walk along the path or the beach. After that sit in the car - people watch and read and watch the ships in and out of Southampton Water. Toilet facilities (very basic) and refreshments are available. Basically, its my get away from the rat race, chill out spot.
Excellent for bird watching with super hides, well managed environment and a great range of birds to be seen. Also you should see many Dragonflies and Butterflies at the right time of year. Plus an excellent cafe! Plenty of free parking Close by and don't forget to look out to sea for more birds. Last winter there was great views of a Snow Bunting on the shoreline.
