It is a friendly place, great views from a private terrace.It's not a hotel although they say it is. This is misleading it's a B&B. A beautiful building but the corridor is very narrow. An ironing board and iron were directly outside our room. One of the regulars said that it is always there. This is a health and safety issue. And an obstruction if there was a fire.The place seems to have been newly carpeted, the room was very clean and bed was very comfortable.The breakfast was OK but the sausages were burnt.The Internet was not working, so couldn't watch any TV and respond to emails. So had to use data from my phone. Regular customers said the signal is often dodgy. So be prepared to use your data or take book etc. It wasnt a bad experience, it was adequate but the price is far to high, charging the prices of 4 stars hotels / B&B. It's a two star grade by the AA and I agree it's a 2 star.
the staff were friendly and helpful the room was very good would be excellent if there had been a TV in the bedroom not the anex to the room and larger bath towels however would recommend to others
Good basic camping facilities. Bathrooms a little dirty.

Ellerslie house offers bed and breakfast, holiday cottages, a basic campsite with facilities and are set in a lovely and peaceful part of Hampshire. The trees and surrounding fields make it feel very rural and the owner, Sam is lovely.Definitely worth a stay if you're visiting the local area or just need an overnight camp out.
